Spicy Rice with Sweet Chilli & Tomato Relish

Take rice to the next level with just a few tablespoons of our Sweet Chilli & Tomato Relish

  • Olive oil
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 2 Cloves of garlic
  • 10g Root ginger
  • 1/4tsp Chilli flakes 
  • 1/2 vegetable stock cube 
  • 300g Basmati rice
  • 3tbsp Wild & Fruitful's Sweet Chilli & Tomato Relish


Place a sauce pan on the stove with a splash of olive oil to warm up.

Finely dice the onion, garlic and giinger and add to the pan with the chilli flakes. Cook until the onions are translucent.

Mix the stock cube with 450ml of boiling water.

Add the rice to the pan followed by the stock and bring to the boil, reduce the heat so the the liquid is barely simmering, leave for 10 minutes, covered with a lid.

After 10 minutes, switch off the heat and leave the pan lid on for a further 10 minutes. Then stirr in the Sweet Chilli & Tomato Relish and serve.
